    We are looking for Distribution Sales Executive. You will report to Senior Account Manager and help to managing existing customer relationship and further developing new business for the company so as to expand UK market share and boost sales revue.

     

    Job Purpose

    • To gain a thorough and comprehensive understanding of the entire TP-Link portfolio, and to support partner sales teams from a technical perspective.
    • To drive sales & promote TP-Link as brand across partner sales floors.
    • Build sales relationships internally and externally, ensuring that communication between both parties is consistent & regular.
    • To attend DMR/VAR sales events and meetings where necessary.
    • To work towards sales targets & objectives set by line manager.
    • Enthusiastically run sales floor ‘focus days’.
    • Feedback to relevant TP-Link personnel the activities of TP Link competitive vendors, most importantly their products, pricing, and promotions.
    • Provide regular internal reports to line manager and internal contacts relating to partner stock and sales performance.
    • Represent TP Link in a professional manner at all times and ensure that the company's interests are uppermost in all dealings and transactions. 
    • Other ad hoc tasks as required.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Achieve and exceed quarterly sales targets.
    • Drive and Support partner sales teams.
    • Implement training for new and existing sales reps.
    • Stay close to partner marketing plans, providing on-going commentary against performance.
    • Provide accurate and regular sales forecasting into line manager.

    Organisational Responsibilities.

    • Plan and co-ordinate sale floor presence with other team members/customers.
    • Understand general networking market and reasons for performance.
    • Regularly update partner sales teams on TP Link promotions, ensure they are visible and updated.

    Knowledge/Experience/Qualifications

    • Proven and tracked sales experience.
    • Drive & Enthusiasm.
    • Good understanding of margin and sales.
    • Be able to run, manipulate, and present reports in Excel.
    • Strong presentation skills.
    • Team Player.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Excellent customer services and objection handling skills.
    • Commercial awareness.
    • Product knowledge.
    • Planning and organisation.
    • Flexibility, adaptability, and Initiative.
    • Confidence and determination to achieve targets.

    About the Job

    You will be working in a small technical team. This role plays a vital role in liaising between various customers and the company.

    The primary responsibility for this role is to support 1st line customer service by answer inquiries and questions from customers. The intention is to project the company's image professionally through telephone interaction and professional manner. The engineer also deals with customer complaints and proposes appropriate solutions. Besides, the person also needs to do product testing to make sure that new products will be localized. 

     

    Duties and Responsibilities 

    • Answering inbound calls and assisting customers who have particular inquiries or questions;
    • Building the interest of customers in the products and services offered by the company;
    • Checking online products reviews from website including social networking
    • Documenting details of comments, inquiries, complaints, and actions taken;
    • Directing unresolved issues and requests to the appropriate designated resource;
    • Recognizing, documenting, and informing the supervisor regarding the trends in internal and external customer calls;
    • Providing individualized customer service at high-standard professional level;
    • summarizing from Customers’ requests and ideas to head office
    • Test Beta Products e.g. Wireless and Cable/Modem/3G Routers, Switches etc.
    • Product test for localizing new products test.
    • Providing technical support to Sales and Marketing department
    • Other tasks assigned by manager

     

    Skills and Qualifications 

    • Bachelor's degree or above in Computing Networking/Engineering/Science with CCNA certification
    • Good understanding of Networking Fundamentals e.g LAN/WAN
    • Good understanding of the OSI Model
    • Good understanding of Wireless Standards e.g.  IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac
    • Previous technical customer service experience is ideal but not essential
    • Able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously 
    • Ability to cope with difficult customer situations & ability to handle diverse people
    • Analyse customer's problems properly and provide logical solutions & being resourceful and attention to detail
    • Take initiative to learn updated products, technology and technical market environment
    • Good telephone manner
    • Fluent in English
